The problem

CreaFlor Home, a supplier of high-quality home and decorative items, was facing a major challenge: migrating their existing online shop from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6. Their goal was clear - they wanted to bring their shop up to date to meet the growing demands of the market and extend their lead over the competition. An additional pressure point was that Shopware 5 no longer offered official support, which could have led to security and performance problems in the long term.

Expectations of the new shop were high: it not only had to be modern and customised, but also fully designed for conversion optimisation. Fast loading times, an improved user experience and an SEO-optimised structure were essential in order to survive in the highly competitive online landscape. But that wasn't all: CreaFlor Home's goal was to increase sales through targeted advertising measures such as Google Ads. To this end, the tracking system was to be expanded and made more precise in order to collect better data for future campaigns and measure their success more accurately.

In short, CreaFlor Home was facing a complex but necessary transformation that would be critical to the company's future growth and competitiveness. They needed a solution that would fulfil both technical and strategic requirements - and one that was fast, reliable and scalable.

The solution

In order to achieve CreaFlor Home's ambitious goals, we divided the project into two key phases: Firstly, the development of a new design concept was on the agenda, followed by the technical implementation of the online shop.

Together with the client, we opted for a modern, fresh shop design that gives the brand a contemporary look while keeping conversion optimisation in mind. Our designer created the most important pages - from the homepage to the product detail page - in Adobe XD. These designs were finalised in close consultation with the client, taking into account not only visual aspects but also psychological elements that have a positive influence on purchasing behaviour. So it wasn't just about colours and spacing, but also about the clever placement of conversion-promoting elements.

With the new design in place, we started development straight away. The hosting was prepared on Timme Hosting, and all layouts and elements were precisely coded. We also implemented a lot of technical features: an improved tracking system was set up to better measure the success of adverts and further increase sales. The continuous exchange with the customer was crucial here - regular feedback enabled us to continuously optimise the result.

In addition, we set up a complete marketplace integration via Channable to list CreaFlor Home products on platforms such as Google Shopping, Otto, Kaufland, LionsHome and Idealo. This was a huge improvement over the previous, less flexible solution with Channel Pilot. In the end, everything was thoroughly tested and went live - ready to take sales to the next level.

The result

After six months of intensive work, we can proudly look back on the result: CreaFlor GmbH now has a modern, customer-friendly online shop that serves as a solid foundation for future growth. The new shop loads quickly, is flexible and offers the option of easily expanding and customising content - a crucial basis for long-term success in e-commerce.

The implementation of a comprehensive tracking system was particularly important. By using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and meta tools, detailed data can now be collected and analysed. This enables CreaFlor to run targeted advertising campaigns via Google Ads and other platforms and to precisely analyse the success of these measures. This enables continuous optimisation of the campaigns and helps to increase sales step by step.

Another highlight is the marketplace connection via Channable. This solution means that CreaFlor can now independently manage the connections to marketplaces such as Google Shopping, Otto, Kaufland and many others and expand them as required. This flexibility leads to greater reach in the long term and, as the rule of thumb says, to more sales - the more marketplaces, the greater the sales opportunities.

We are delighted to have accompanied CreaFlor GmbH on this successful journey and look forward to working with them in the future. Congratulations on the new online shop!
